Things to Know Before Becoming a Wedding Planner
If you want to become a wedding planner and regularly produce people’s weddings, there are a number of things to know before you do. First, being a wedding planner is a very fast-paced, high stress job, because most people are spending a lot of money for a life-changing day they will remember for the rest of their lives. This means your clients will be relatively impatient with any mistakes that are made by you and there are no shortage of mistakes that can be made throughout the process.
There is also constant unpredictability in the wedding or general event planning profession. A vendor doesn’t show up, something critical to the wedding reception breaks and can’t be fixed in time, it rains—all of these things can make stress levels skyrocket. However, solving these problems and seeing the joy of your clients on this special day makes it all worth it in the end.
